It was so much fun working with you..and I'm now sad it's over. :( I think this is an amazing project and I wish you and every artist involved nothing but the very BEST in your endeavors!
I know that Haley would say don't cry but it's all I can do. :>) This site is so great! Way cute, fun, and the kids pictures are fab! I love it!!!! Thank you to Karen for creating it and a HUGE thanks to Michelle for stepping up, listening to her heart and helping these kids and families. What a blessing. May God bless and keep you always....(Bob Dylan)
How blessed we cancer families are to have someone as talented and passionate as you, Michelle, on our side and willing to help in such a tangible way.
The website is absolutely adorable and I can't wait to share it with others.
Oooh! I get it! There is Coleman with his bunny, King JuJu, and Miss Haley with her "High Five" shirt. So cute and very neat. I wish you all the success in the world.
Ha! That little red dot over in Europe on your visitor location map must be me... And I intend to come back often! The cancer monster that my kids are having to deal with here is my dad's, their grandpa's... Even though I am thankful every day that they are healthy, I can't stand what this illness is doing to my kids and family. Keep up the good work and sending you cheers across the miles!!
Michelle, Well you said it would be great and It is beyond that! Do you even have a clue what kind of a blessing you are going to be for others? This is so wonderful. Thanks for taking a stand for Cancer! We love you! God bless and I will be praying for you and this site. I will but get the tag put on my blog today.
Gorgeous kids & such a shame a few were lost. Keep on fighting kids & keep on the good work with this beautiful & thoughtful site. P.S. How do I add it to my blog please?
I tried to add the "button" to my blog, but it didn't work. (Of course, it could be because I am still learning about how to add stuff to my blog.) So I just added a regular link and then mentioned it in a post.
Best of luck with this site! What you're doing is inspirational!
This site is beautimous! I just love it! You know, maybe this is the nudge I need to start doing something artistic again, so my brain will be thinking, the wheels will be turning, and I'll tell you when I've figured it out!
Michelle, I got the link for your site off of Dawn's blogspot page. I signed the petition first thing, but I want to make you aware as well why this cause means so much to me. I've grown close to two little boys that I've never met that had pediatric cancer. They've both earned their angel wings. One, AJ who was 4 years old, and the other, Joseph, who was 10. This site is amazing, and I wish you nothing but unbelievable success. If you'd like to check out Joseph's and AJ's pages, please do. I'm sure their stories will touch your heart. www.caringbridge.com/visit/josephbrown www.caringbridge.com/sc/ajhaynes
You have touched my heart. This site is beautiful...I will be back soon. And I also will link to my blog. Keep up the good work, the Lord has great plans for you.
I follow all of the kids you have on your blog. What a wonderful way to show the love that each of us feels for these families. Just another form of support that those of us that don't live close can give. Cyber hugs and prayers at their best.
Thank you so much for donating your talents to such a special cause. I found your page through John Eric Bartel's care page. My heart and prayers go out to all of the families that are facing this challenge.
Hello - I love your site - I am a Pediatric Oncology Nurse and would love to have your button on my blog - How do I copy it to my blog - I see the html info, but how do I transfer it to my blogger blog? Do I add it as an image or html? I fooled around awhile and couldn't get it. I would love to publicize your site and am so excited that I found you! You are doing extraordinary work!
I added your button to my blog. I am a loyal follower of "My Semblance of Sanity" and I check out this blog often, too, to see how else I can help. Keep up the good work.
I had little Jessica come to my house this year with her friend Angelica. They had such a blast sitting on the horses and being led down the road with them, then she came to the house and played on my daughter's rope swing, which swings over the living room; she said her leg got in the way so she took it off and swung even higher. When they got tired of that my daughter asked them if they would like to make chocolate chip cookies, and well let's just say they ate alot of cookies and dough that day. Then they went outside and Jessica started playing with the puppies, and called her mom and asked if she could have one. She was such a joy to have here, made me appreciate her smile and determination all the more. Thank you Jessica, I will always remember you and pray for you! God bless you and your family!
I'm having "one of those days" where everything makes me cry...so I came here for inspiration. Michelle, the things you do and the heart you have, I aspire to be more like you. I did not realize you had posted Jessica to the site either, but my "mind" has been wrapped up in radiation and chemo! Thank you for lifting us up and for all you do!
I think it's wonderful what you are doing. I'd like to ad the button to my blog. Not sure how that works exactly, so I am asking first to see itf it's ok and then I'll add it.
Very inspiring. I just got finished with a year of battling osteosarcoma, and this site speaks to me. It makes me want to give, because I know that that's what means the most to a kid going through cancer. It's not the presents, it's the people who care.
Popping in to say hello. Katie is doing a homework project about Jessica, and it has turned more into a cancer awareness project. I brought her to your site to show the wonderful people doing wonderful things in such a sad environment. Together, we WILL make a difference!
What precious children. I am running my first marathon in june to help raise money to find a cure. My heart goes out to all the wonderful souls this horrible cancer attacks. God bless you all and I will keep fighting to help in anyway I can.
In the header you will see Coleman (age 4 - Medulloblastoma) and Bunny Foo Foo, King Julian (age 4 1/2 - Medulloblastoma), John Eric (almost 2 - Neuroblastoma), Mikayla (age 5 - Leukemia) and Bailey (age 7 - Rhabdomyosarcoma)
These are the children who have impacted my life and are the reason this site exists. There are many families out there in need of financial assistance as they watch their children suffer through the demon we know as PEDIATRIC CANCER.
This site if for them.
